The Stake of the Junior College in Its Library As in any other institution, a library in a funior college must be determined by the function of its parent organization. Junior colleges have characteristics distinct from those of the four-year college or university. Some of these unique characteristics are discussed, and their meq,ning to the library is recognized. Recent developments are outlined in intercommunication between funior colleges and their libraries which will improve their articulation.
