Compressive Creep Behaviour of Cotton Fiber Assemblies
1976
Journal of the Textile Machinery Society of Japan
To make clear the compressive Theological property of fiber assemblies, we investigated the compressive creep behaviour of cotton fiber asssemblies, and the following conclusions were obtained: (1) The compressive creep strain of cotton fiber assemblies increases with load, while it reaches the maximum at 30-40°C. (2) The compressive creep strain et of cotton fiber assemblies agrees with that of the Eyring's non-linear three element model, and is given as follows; ec=Yo ln(vt+l) where t is time, Yo and v are experimental constants.
