FORESEEABILITY OF COLLAPSE OF WOODEN BUILDINGS BASED ON THE BEHAVIOR OF FIRE OBSERVED FROM OUTDOORS

The likelihood of structural collapse of fire involved wooden buildings was analyzed by using the results of 22 existing full-scale fire experiments. This analysis is intended to provide firefighters with warning information of structural collapse during their activities. The occurrence of structural collapse was related to the macroscopic behavior of fire observed from outdoors.
