Aim. The aim of this study was to establish the chemical structure of teichoic acids of probiotic lactobacilli strains and to investigate their influence on murine macrophages phagocytosis and proliferation of the murine macrophages cell line J 774. Methods. Physical (infrared spectroscopy methodology, 1 H, and 13 C NMR experiments), immunobiological and statistical methods were used. Results.
