Static correction is a prominent problem for the converted wave exploration. We still have not fully developed applicable techniques for the real applications. The static correction to the converted wave is facing more difficulties than that to P waves, and many conventional static correction methods for P waves are invalid for the converted waves. We have developed a set of converted wave static correction techniques that have been proved to be effective in practical applications. These
