Crystals of Cadmium malonate have been grown by a simple gel technique using single diffusion method. The optimum growth conditions were established by varying parameters such as pH of gel solution, gel concentration, gel setting time and concentration of reactants. Good quality of Cadmium malonate crystal was obtained. FTIR are DSC study of these grown crystals is explained.
