In this study, an algorithm for predicting welding deformation in the fabrication of large structures was proposed. The major factors affecting the structural deformation were identified and the relationship between them was derived through a bead-on-plate welding experiment. Constraint and offset were introduced to flexibly adapt to environmental changes as well as to reflect actual structures.
