We used a drone to survey openings through which roof rats (Rattus rattus) can enter houses. e drone took o smoothly, the drone camera did not vibrate, and we were able to look under eaves and roof tiles with the naked eye on a monitor screen. We did not detect roof rats using the openings at the time of observation. We found that a drone is useful for surveying openings through which roof rats can enter houses.
