Gautier's Report on Lead-Poisoning.-Improvements in the Water-Stppty ofParis. AT the first meeting of the Societe de Chirurgie since the vacation, on October 1st, M. Terillon communicated some notes on thirty-three cases of ovariotomy. Twenty-nine of the patients recovered, four died, twenty-seven. continued in good health, One of the remaining, two dled a short time after the operation, from diffused cancer; the, other had a tumour in process of formation, but her general health did not suffer.
