Hyptis suaveolens (L.) Poit. (Bush mint) belongs to the family Lamiaceae and commonly known as 'wilayati tulsi' in India. It is an invasive weed famous for its insecticidal property. Traditionally it is used for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, infection of uterus and skin diseases.
