The study examines the validity of five biochemical parameters as indicators for the activity and intensity of asthma induced by the house-dust mite allergy. Blood samples of forty children (28 males and 12 females of 0.5 -15 years old) suffering from moderate (31) and severe (9) attack of asthma and of 10 non asthmatic children (6 males and 4 females of similar age range) were examined.
