This paper reviews about the vaporization and combusiton characteristics of ethanol-blended diesel oil droplets. Ethanol is soluble in diesel oil at a suitable temperature, so this blended fuel keeps uniform and stable. Analyzing by using a high speed camera, the expansion rate of a droplet increases with increasing ethanol content. Since ethanol has a low boiling point and high
