Recently, the concept, roots, problems, culture, belief of alevism and similar topics came into discussion due to various reasons in Turkey. ... reason, Onar village (in Arapgir district, in Malatya province) was selected as the investigation area. The recognition of living Alevi culture, belief practices and Alevi culture and belief was portrayed by utilizing Onar village practices. An "Alevi Culture and Beliefs Survey" that include questions to reflect "demographic properties", "Alevism related concepts and percepts", "Alevism related belief and practices" was developed by the investigator and the obtained data was evaluated by SPSS 21.0 software program. Finally, the evaluation of the results and a general discussion are given at the end of the study.
