A NOVEL IRIS SEGMENTATION SCHEME TOWARDS IRIS RECOGNITION FOR USER AUTHORIZATION

This paper proposes an effective and novel method to recognize iris for user authorization. The haar features were used to represent the iris images efficiently for recognition. The proposed work was carried out on the images acquired from the UPOL database. The accuracy of any iris recognition system depends on the segmentation.
