A 32-year-old female had sudden hearing loss and tinnitus in the right ear. She was treated with steroids, and her hearing started to recover very quickly and was normalized within a few weeks. However, a series of radiological examinations revealed a tumor within the right internal auditory meatus. The tumor was removed through a middle fossa approach.
