Recent investigations have suggested the clinical efficacy of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) infusion alone or in combination with a single dose delivery of peripheral blood stem cells (PBSC) infusion in patients with myocardial infarction (MI) and congestive heart failure (HF).
