Actinomyces causing chronic tonsillitis: a retrospective study

<p class="abstract"><strong>Background:</strong> Actinomyces is often overlooked and hence reported as rare infection of palatine tonsils. It can often lead to chronic tonsillitis and can masquerade as oropharyngeal malignancy.
