The dihedral angle between the naphthalene and benzene planes in the title compound, C 18 H 14 N 2 O 3 , is 4.3 (2) . The molecular conformation is characterized by an N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bond and the crystal packing is stabilized by N-HÁ Á ÁO and O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds.
