The metastasizing pleomorphic adenoma (MPA) is defined as histologically benign pleomorphic adenoma that exhibits local or distant metastases. It constitutes an extremely rare group of tumors. Most patients have a history of atleast one recurrence prior to the detection of local or distant metastasis.
