In this paper, we have studied the mathematical model of HIV infection of CD + 4 T cells. This model corresponds to initial value problem consisting a class of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The main objective of this paper is to apply homotopy perturbation and variational iteration approaches to evaluate the uninfected CD + 4 T cells in the body.
