Complexes of Co(II), Ni(II),Cu(II) and Zn(II) with Schiff base [LH 2 ] derived from 2-hydroxy-5-methyl-3-nitroacetophenone and isonicotinoyl hydrazide have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of molar conductance, magnetic susceptibilities, elemental analysis, infrared, 1 H NMR, electronic spectra and thermogravimetric analysis.
