phido of lime is stated as one sixty-sixth of a grain, while it is usually given in the dose of one-tenth, and even this corresponds to a very small dose of phosphorus. The few pages devoted to mechanical remedies, pneumatic aspiration, heat, cold, and electricity are far too meagre to be of any practical value.
