The objective of the study is to identify the profile of competency perceived by the managers of familiar companies. The referential is based on studies on women in the command of familiar companies and competency management. The research was exploratory and quantitative with an accessibility sample of commercial familiar companies in Natal-RN. The instrument of data collection was a questionnaire.
