The use of IT-enabled "internal crowdsourcing" with employees in organizations has substantially increased in recent years. Being a novel phenomenon, internal crowdsourcing is poorly understood. Organizational learning theory has been successfully applied to gain revelatory insights for external crowdsourcing with end-users.
