Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne tropical disease caused by the dengue virus. Symptoms typically begin three to fourteen days after infection. These may include a high fever, headache, vomiting, muscle and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash. Recovery generally takes two to seven days. A total of 130 patients was included in the study. The mean age of the patients was 41.56±2.87 years, mean age of the females was 39.23±3.67 years and mean age of males was 43.31±4.78 years.
