This paper describes a viable, low cost Electroencephalogram (EEG) signal acquisition device which collects and records the signals in the desktop computer using DSP Processor DS-1104. The main considerations while making such a device are simplicity, ease of use and applicability. The uniqueness of this device is that it uses only three electrodes while most other systems use the 10-20 system of electrode placement which requires 21 electrodes.
