is a Research Fellow at ICCT and a Researcher in public international law at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut, focusing on legal aspects of counterterrorism and modern warfare. She completed her PhD in international law at the University of Amsterdam (2015) , with a dissertation on the topic of the responsibility of states and international organisations for violations of international law committed in international military operations. She holds Masters in law from the University of Amsterdam (2010) and from the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (2008).
