This paper is to examine the impact of governance toward ethnic tolerance among youth in the manufacturing area, Pasir Gudang, Johor. The expression about the federal and local governance and also their ethnic tolerance level was collected by a stratified sampling technique from 362 youth in Pasir Gudang by using a set of questionnaires. The relationship between governance and ethnic tolerance variables is analyzed by using structural equation modelling (SEM). The result found there is a
