2016
Indian Journal of Dental Advancements
The lifetime management of patients with bipolar mood disorder is challenging because of the dynamic, chronic, and fluctuating nature of this disease. In the present case report, we have discussed about the oral health status and care of a 42 year old male patient with bipolar mood disorder. Patient was having drug-induced gingival enlargement due to sodium valproate & periodontitis which was treated by full mouth disinfection followed by local drug delivery using tetracycline fibres.
