Measurements of hydrophone response over audio − frequency range are usually performed in the sea where the acoustic fr 且eld is realized . But , such measuremnts are not convenient for occasional tests of many hydrophones . We have tried the 皿 easurement of hydrophone response in the reverberant 丘eld using white nolse source in a circular water tlnk constructed of concrete wal1 . more » ... nerating 1/ 30ctave band noise was placed in the neighbourhood of the tank walL It wELs proved as the result of rneasurements that an approximately uniform sound pressure distribution exists near the central portion of the tank in the frequency range above 500 c / s ・ In this field , hydrophone response was measured with calibration technique based on comparison method . The response obtained by this method is in good agreement with the one obtained by the free field 皿 ethod in the sea . §1.
