Microfabricated capillary array electrophoresis ( µ CAE) microchannel plates are the next generation of bioanalytical separation devices. To fully exploit the capabilities of µ CAE devices, supporting technology such as robotic sample loading, gel loading, microplate washing, and data analysis must be developed.
