A rare case of double cancer,tongue cancer and occult thyroid cancer found by radical neck dissection of tongue cancer is presented. The patient was a 58-year-old male, who visited our clinic with the chief complaint of spontaneous pain in the right margin of the tongue in March 1983. The tongue cancer (T2NOMO) was pathologically diagnoted squamous cell carcinoma, and treated by irradiation therapy (104 Gy).
