This research aims to determine the teachers' views about the implementation of the cooperative learning method in the sixth grade mathematics curricula which started to be implemented in the 2006-2007 academic year. Participants were 101 sixth grade mathematics teachers who were randomly selected from the elementary schools in Eskişehir. Data were collected by a questionnaire which was developed by the authors.
