This work presents the surface heat inversions characteristics for Baghdad city. This inversion plays an important role in the study of concentrations of pollutants as well as its effect on spraying insecticides, which starts from a height of 2 m using the daily radiosonde data (midnight) of the period of 2013– –2014 obtained from the Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology.
