The mathematical methods of calculating the reliability of renewable systems based on the use of Markov's random processes (RYABININ, L., 1976). The simplest case of calculating the reliability of a renewable system without redundant units has been given. The availability and the reliability of a lightly loaded standby redundant system have been considered.
