This article is principally inspired by queer theory and is based on the evaluation of a questionnaire on sexual identity issues directed to ten Spanish pre-service primary school EFL teachers. It aims to show their knowledge of queer issues and their opinion on introducing and discussing sexual identities in EFL at primary school level. The main results highlight the participants' lack of training in this field and a willingness to treat these issues in primary school education.
