In November 2018, the lidar-based wind shear synchronous experiment was performed at Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA). In this experiment, aiming at the measurement of the terrain-induced wind shear and the wind field around the runway, the glide path scanning mode, and the RHI strategy were conducted alternately.
