Plasmon-like excitation at the interface between fully polymeric fiber sensor and gaseous analyte is demonstrated theoretically in terahertz regime. Such plasmonic excitation occurs on top of a ∼ 30μm ferroelectric PVDF layer wrapped around a subwavelength porous polymer fiber.
