Studies show that the habit of Brazilian consumers has been changed over the years, their wishes are even for food with features like good looks, taste and standardization; however, it also takes into account the aggregation of environmental, social and economic values. Integrated production that provides the exchange of conventional and costly practices, procedures that enable the reduction of these, as well as improving quality, reducing environmental damage and increase the degree of credibility and consumer reliability for products. Despite the barriers and challenges to be overcome, integrated production presents with great potential for the future of national and global agriculture, because the same time is the recovery of all those involved in supply chains, there is an offer to the consumer safe food quality, designating sustainable social and environmental models for the agricultural production system.
