The complete mitochondrial genome of Rhytidodus viridiflavus was determined for the first time in the present study. Based on annotation, the mitogenome was found to have circular shape, with 16,842 bp in size, containing 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 transfer-RNA genes, 2 ribosomal-RNA genes, and 1 non-coding region. All PCGs have ATN as the start codon, TAA and single T-as the stop codon. The concatenated PCGs were used to perform Bayesian phylogenetic analyses together with mitogenomedoi:10.1080/23802359.2020.1734495 fatcat:vt26lgjl5jfchhvzyg3ceaxi3u
