This essay reviews architectural trends in post-revolutionary Iran. The ideological turn of the revolution and its effect on architectural production, the genuine resistance and responses to this and everyday patterns of public architectural production are the subjects of investigation. The paper is an attempt to investigate the collective forces and meanings of an architecture living in revolution.
