The objective of this article is to analyze, from the Epistemology, the possibility or not to accept the death penalty. Methodologically, the research is qualitative, based on bibliographic and documentary sources, using as an instrument "The life of David Gale" film. As for the objectives, it is exploratory, explanatory and descriptive. In the end, it was concluded that it is impossible to believe in the knowledge possibility of reality's in all aspects and the absolute reach of a truth. So,
