The present study on was conducted during Kharif 2017. Combining ability in respect of following characters viz., days to 50% flowering, days to maturity, plant height (cm), number of clusters per plant, number of pods per cluster, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, 100 seed weight (g), pod length (cm), seed yield per plant (g) and protein per cent, involving four lines and five testers and their 20 hybrid combinations with one standard check.
