This paper tries to examine the dynamic behavior of earth-structure as a ground with embankment during liquefaction and assess the effectiveness of the liquefaction countermeasures. From a total of six types of shaking table tests it can be seen that even for soft sandy ground liable to give rise to liquefaction in the surrounding horizontal ground parts, the excess pore water pressure of the foundation ground directly below the embankment did not reach the effective overburden stress and
