This article aims to analyze the Brazilian national innovation system, identifying its actors, investments in R&D&I programs and mobilizing projects, legislation, incentives and results. The descriptive and qualitative analysis based on secondary data allowed a benchmarking development with consolidated innovation systems (SI) of reference countries in innovation and compare them to the Brazilian SI.
