Within this field, one of the constructs that produces more interest is mathematics anxiety. This construct has been frequently related to gender differences between the students population and to the students' choice of mathematics courses and university degrees depending on the level of mathematics involved. Using the Fennema-Sherman Mathematics Anxiety Scale, we analyzed the mathematics anxiety levels of a group of students from the University of Granada when working on some mathematics tasks.
