The main theme for this year's EE583 term project is FACE DETECTION ☺ . This problem can be summarized as finding the existence and also location of any human face in a given gray-level (not color) image. Therefore, face detection is simply a 2-class problem with the following classes: face-and non-face. Hence, all the regions in a given image should be classified into one of these two classes by an appropriate algorithm.
