more » ... mal concentrations of the salts were predicted as follows, g.dm-3 : NH 4 H 2 PO 4 6.50; (NH 4) 2 C 2 O 4 0.90; MgSO 4 0.95; KCl 0.95. Maximum lipase activity was 4200.08 U.dm-3 according to the model. Three consecutive experiments at the predicted optimal values of the factors were carried out and a mean value of 3980.90 U.dm-3 enzyme activity was achieved. The obtained activity was very close to the predicted one which means that this model correctly described the examined process.
