This study investigates the relationship between the strong motion records of super high-rise RC residential buildings and the indoor damages during the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku earthquake based on a questionnaire survey. The indoor damages, including the anxiety, the action difficulty and the overturning ratio of furniture were discussed in comparison with previous studies.
