It is reasonable to suppose that not every electric car will be charged at home sockets: some vehicle owners will eventually use charging stations. There are two options for such a charging station: it can be built either at the parking lots of shopping centers, or along highways, similar to the gas stations of today. These charging stations of course require additional feed-in of electric energy. To calculate the necessary capacity of such infeed one has to know the main operating parameters
